We work with trusted local guides and premium logistics to create high-quality days on and off the water without the usual hassle. Our goal is not just to put guests on fish, but to create the kind of days you remember for years.

Be Reel Ranch is designed to feel both elevated and grounded: premium lodging, thoughtful hospitality, and authentic access to a remarkable place. Guests can enjoy the 3+ acre property and offerings, including a fully equipped gourmet indoor/outdoor kitchen, private organic garden access, and curated evenings that make the experience feel relaxed and complete. We want guests to feel hosted, not processed.

Our remote camp experiences bring comfort into wild places, allowing guests to enjoy backcountry waters without sacrificing hospitality. For guests looking for something more immersive, we offer fully coordinated remote camp adventures in the Trinity Alps and select Northern California fisheries. These trips are designed to offer rare access, real adventure, and a level of ease that is difficult to find elsewhere.

For guests traveling in, we make getting here easy with Redding Airport access and included shuttle coordination. Many of our guests come from Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, San Jose, and the Bay Area because Be Reel Ranch offers a destination experience that feels both accessible and truly unique. We also include guest shuttle services, so if you have your own boat or own guide we can get you on the water and set up for recovery at the end of the day.

About Me

I grew up in an Oil Field Family in South Texas during the 70’s and early 80’s.

Moving to a resort community in Southern Colorado I started working in the hospitality business at the age of 14.

Fishing has shaped my life from the very beginning.

Some of my earliest memories are of fishing with my father and family as a young boy. Ever since then, the outdoors has been where I’ve found joy, peace, and have established the deepest and most meaningful connections over the years. From the coastal waters of Texas to the lakes and rivers of Colorado and Wyoming, fishing was always there—sometimes at the center of my life, and sometimes quietly waiting for me to return to it.

After years of career demands, raising a family, and navigating life’s harder seasons, fly fishing came back into my life in a powerful way in 2018. What began as a meaningful trip with my daughter, sister, and a guide on a stream from my childhood became the spark that brought me fully back to the water. Not long after, I discovered Northern California’s rivers, and eventually the Trinity River—a place that truly changed my life.

I moved to Lewiston in 2020 because I knew this was where I belonged. The Trinity River and Trinity Alps have given me friendship, healing, adventure, and a deep respect for the beauty and power of this place. Over the years, I found that one of the greatest rewards was sharing it—hosting friends, family, and guests, and watching the river create the same kind of connection and joy in them that it has created in me.

In 2026, after stepping away from my corporate career, I chose to create Be Reel Ranch—a place built around curated experiences, meaningful time outdoors, and the kind of memories that stay with you long after the trip ends.

Be Reel Ranch is my way of sharing this place I love so deeply, and I would be honored to share it with you and your group.
